- Cut out the pictures of the six legendary creatures.
- Stick them in your book, one by one, and copy the short text that describes the creature.
a. Banshee: female spirit who announces the death of a family member, by lamenting.
b. Changeling: fairy child left in place of a human child stolen by fairies (in Scotland and Ireland)
c. Gwyllgi: frightful mythical dog with red eyes that appears in Wales’ lonely roads at night.
d. Leprechaun: little mischievous Irish creature; if captured by a human, he will grant three wishes in exchange for freedom.
e. Merlin: Welsh wizard linked to King Authur’s legend.
f. The Loch Ness Monster: a monster that has been reported in Loch Ness, in Scotland since the 6th century.
