Times in the Day
Règle de la 3ème personne du singulier
En anglais, à la 3ème personne du singulier (he, she, it), on ajoute -s à la fin du verbe au présent simple.
Exemple : He works, She plays.
Si le verbe finit par -ch, -sh, -x, -s, ou -o, on ajoute -es.
Exemple : He watches, She goes.
Si le verbe finit par une consonne + -y, on remplace -y par -ies.
Exemple : He studies, She tries.
L’utilisation de AM et PM
En anglais, on utilise AM pour indiquer les heures de minuit (00:00) à midi (12:00) et PM pour les heures de midi (12:00) à minuit (00:00).
On peut aussi préciser les moments de la journée :
- in the morning = le matin
- in the afternoon = l’après-midi
- in the evening = le soir
- at night = la nuit

2. Dans chacune des phrases suivantes, souligne l’adverbe de fréquence en bleu et entoure le verbe en rouge.
