Activité 1

Let’s find a job!

  • Read the text ‘Jobs in a Ski Resort.’
  • How much do you understand?

Read the descriptions, and choose which job is being described.

Activité 2

What job would suit you?

Prepare a short text to describe yourself. Try to insinuate a job when you do it. Think about these points:

  • Good with people.
  • Smiley.
  • Energetic.
  • Sporty.
  • Great with children.
  • Knowledgable about technology.

Do not mention a job!

I am very good with children, and I love to play all day. I’m friendly and helpful and I’m a great cook! I don’t like working with the general public, but I like to stay at home.

Activité 3

Give advice!

Read your text to the class, and listen to their advice!

« I think you should be a … »

Respond with

« I agree, I would love to be a … »
or
« Oh no, I would hate to be a …, I want to be a … »
