Project Time - Trivial Pursuit

Explaination

Read the rules of the game. Make sure everybody in your team understands how it works.
Prepare your questions. In pairs, write six multiple-choice questions about South Africa. Each question must have one correct answer and three distractors.
Play the game!
- a. The teacher will ask questions to each team. For each correct answer, they will receive a wedge. You only have twenty seconds to answer.
- b. Answer the questions and try to win all six wedges.

There are six wedges to win. Each wedge corresponds to one of the categories below:

Formuler des questions fermées (type QCM) en anglais
Utiliser des structures interrogatives au présent et au prétérit simple

Before you create your official question cards, follow these steps carefully in your pairs:

In pairs, use your rough notebook (*carnet de brouillon*) to write six multiple-choice questions about South Africa.
You must write one question for each category:
- History
- Geography
- Cinema
- Culture
- Sport
- Personalities
Each question must have:
- A clear and correct question
- One correct answer
- Three false answers (but believable!)
- The category it belongs to
Make sure you both agree on the answers.
Show your questions to the teacher for checking and approval.
Once they are approved, you can copy them neatly onto your Trivial Pursuit cards.
Give them to the teacher, and get ready to play!
